Awnings by DETEX®, made robust and stable
The DETEX sun sails made of Oxford fabric offer UV50 protection, natural sun protection as well as protection against harmful UV rays.
Oxford fabrics are also UV stabilised and offer a 95% shading efficiency. Both materials are highly water-repellent.
The Oxford fabric (100% Polyester) offers 210 gr/m².
The awnings are pre-impregnated and have a wind and water-repellent coating. This coating should always face upwards for optimum protection.
Tension the sail with a gradient of at least 20% to support the water-repellent function of the fabric. This allows the water to run off and prevents the formation of a water bag.
A perfect and clean tension of the sun sail is possible thanks to its concave cut (arc-shaped inclined inwards). The tension is transferred outwards to the corners by the concave shape of the sails. This prevents wrinkling and sagging in the fabric.
With our sun sails, the corner points are sewn crosswise and the Tensioning cables are very solid. This ensures high stability and durability! In wind and weather!
Different sizes can be combined for larger open spaces.
