DETEX® sun sails - Robust and durable
The DETEX awnings made from Oxford fabric with their UV50-protection offer natural sun protection as well as protection from harmful UV-rays.
OXFORD- fabric is highly wind and waterproof + UV 50 protected.Oxford-fabric (100% Polyester) 210 gr/m².
The sun sails are impregnated and have a water and windproof coating. This coating should always point upwards for optimum protection.
When attaching the sail, create a slope of at least 20% to support the waterproof function of the fabric. This ensures optimum water drainage and prevents water pockets.
The sails have a concave cut (arched, inward looking) to transfer the tension to the outer edges of the sail. This prevents wrinkle formation and dents. The corners of our sun shades are reinforced with sevenfold crosswise stitching. This ensures very high stability and durability. Do NOT attach the edges (D-rings) directly to its anchor-points. Always attach ropes to the D-rings and attach the ropes to the anchorpoints in wall, post etc.
Combine sizes for larger areas.
