DETEX® sun sails - Robust and durable
HDPE fabric is UV-stabilized and offers 95% shading.
When attaching the sail, create a slope of at least 20% to ensures optimum water drainage and prevents water pockets.
The sails have a concave cut (arched, inward looking) to transfer the tension to the outer edges of the sail. This prevents wrinkle formation and dents. The corners of our sun shades are reinforced with sevenfold crosswise stitching. This ensures very high stability and durability. Do NOT attach the edges (D-rings) directly to its anchor-points. Always attach ropes to the D-rings and attach the ropes to the anchorpoints in wall, post etc.
Combine sizes for larger areas.
